1 design of a teacher education module on gender equality education in primary schools with input and expertise from different partners.
A2 Design of Module: result will be a learning path for initial or continuing teacher education that will include, lessons structure, format, duration, learning objects and expert/s to deliver each unit.
- design a training module for teachers A2 that comprises the conveyance of knowledge and imparting of skills that equip teachers to have sound background knowledge and knowhow when embarking on gender equality education, cultural diplomacy (also in other areas by way of transfer), transformative learning and culturally sensitive education,
- record and make the course available online for learners during the project lifetime and beyond A3,
- run two rounds of training A4 with 36 participants from the partners to test the content and get feedback, to record those lessons that will be in workshop format and later use them as lessons in the online training module,
- test the online training module with at least 70 learners A5 and
- after the Toolbox and testing of lessons in WP3 is concluded, the Toolbox and the clips about beneficiaries' experience A6 are added to the training module as a resource.
The online training module will be of 18 - 20hrs at EQF Level 2 to cover all essential areas and at the same time cater for learners who are also in the profession or following full time teacher education and therefore need to fit their learning within a work-life balance pattern.
Participation
A2 Design of Module
- CSI and UNIC at least 2 experts in pedagogy, gender equality and cultural diplomacy each designing training module
- LABA and Synkoino at least 1 expert each in cultural diplomacy in education
- All partners giving feedback or volunteering expertise should other be necessary and available
A validation activity will be running horizontal throughout all these steps.
